Sure, I tend to be someone that tries to look at someone's actions with a lot of compassion. However, that compassion should never excuse bad behavior. It's understandable that Team Cherry would be a little sad. But chasing accolades/awards is a fool's errand and shouldn't compel them to bitterness.

This to me reads as someone coping with the fact that their game, which has been so anticipated it’s release has been a meme for years, will likely be outshined at an award show by another project. And that’s fine, but keep it to yourself. Your game was a financial and critical darling. Take the win

Ehhhh, the racism in NM is really bad but I have a hard time ranking it below many of the films. Like we can edit out the racism in NM. But some of those films have a good line at best and a lot of racism. NM is a mess but it has some good moments & acting. However, as a white guy my opinion is moot

I think a lot of people are shocked by the novelty of it. Especially since it presents the information or response in a more personal way than normal. Like, it regurgitates the info you fed it and it feels like it’s customized just for you when it reality it’s a souped up search engine with mad libs

The day I learned that not only is it hard to find clothes if you’re fat but that it is a lot more expensive was the day I became radicalized about how cruel the world is to fat people for just existing.

I do not understand how people can stand it. Ethical issues aside, it’s just not good.
And to be clear, there are enough ethical issues to push it way, WAY out of the bounds of reasonable to consider using as is. The end quality just makes it all the more unfathomable.

We should really just treat the series like it’s dead. But there’s nothing they could have put in the game to even give it more than a passing thought so take that with a grain of salt.

The most significant example I can think of is Persona and SMTV. Though I will say it certainly feels like most jrpg characters are teens. However, that “feels like” is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

He’s just being gracious. We know the real reason is that the Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone Miss Piggy movie would conflict with his shooting schedule. Kind of him since this is Miss Piggy’s big chance at an Oscar.
