Roadside Pileated Woodpecker. St. Joseph County, Michigan, USA. He was working on a Black Cherry tree, at the end you can see him swallowing insects. Likely Carpenter ants, as they like to overwinter in Cherry trees. Apologies for quality.

Pink oyster mushrooms. Just adorable as hell and tasty, too. Not my image, but we have successfully grown them from rolls of bamboo toilet paper in the past.
