Reelection of Dubya. Trump 1. Trump 2. They will continue to do this until something changes.

Why does it matter to you?

I’m still (naively?) mostly a reformist or will support nonviolent revolutionary actions. Once blood starts spilling it’s hard to stop and whoever comes out on top after that kind of action starts to see violence as the answer to everything.

In general the dems could be a lot less cooperative and maybe not continue to pass funding for things like ICE. Long term, what the us really needs is to raise up alternative parties which need voting reforms to make more viable. Ranked choice or proportional representation.

So I know this is pointless because I see where you’re going, but as I suggested, holding people accountable for their actions would be a great start. Bondi is subject to impeachment as a cabinet member so there’s that, but you’re gonna say that as the minority dems can’t do it so we’re back to 0.

Right now? Outside the country, but I can still vote. For now.

Nah. Was putting kids to bed and wasn’t in the mood to interact, but I’m ready to hear how It Really Is from someone in the trenches.

Please let me know how the historic lack of holding bad actors to account for their actions is going to be different *this* time.

I seem to have angered the hive, but FWIW I’m American as well, though have lived abroad for a number of years now. The repeated failure of democratic governments to hold their republican predecessors accountable for their actions is a hard track record to ignore.

And yet… there she is.

What does that say about the system and the competence of America?
February 11, 2026 at 7:46 PM
Yeah. That you can’t do shit about it, or rather won’t do shit about it, for 3 years isn’t really showing y’all in a good light. Also, you’re not going to actually do anything about it in 3 years. We all know this.

So has Ricky. Fuck him.

After playing Expedition 33 I was left feeling like I should create something in the world.

Perennially relevant Sartre quote… deploy!

What? The land of the free?

Whoever told you that is your enemy.

The boomer addiction to superlatives is probably one of the weirder facets of late empire living. Not everything is the biggest or the best or the most special. Sometimes it’s just fucking Tuesday and that’s fine.

Such a brilliant actor...

It’s a shame there’s no way to make change in the world aside from through proper channels…
January 20, 2026 at 8:31 PM
Is this rhetorical? Do you really not know?

Someone fucked up their release scheduler
