In my opinion, it was the DNC convincing FDR to change VPs for his last term. That arguably started the Cold War, Vietnam War and caused who knows how many other butterfly effects. Then they pushed Bernie out who even Republicans say they would've voted for. Reagan also didn't help.

lmao again you're free to think whatever you want, it's no skin off my back
December 4, 2024 at 10:59 PM
Are you familiar with the term straw man?
December 4, 2024 at 10:58 PM
How exactly are you planning on doing so when you seem to think that insurance companies are entitled to screw people over as much as they want because it's their right and job as a company?
December 4, 2024 at 10:56 PM
You are free to continue putting words in my mouth all you want, but I specifically said that I don't condone the murder or celebrate the death. Having empathy for people finding some measure of relief or catharsis in this loss isn't condoning murder. It's why people view death sentences.
December 4, 2024 at 10:55 PM
It's lucky for you that you can't understand the fury and grief that go along with watching multiple preventable deaths. Watching the life drain from someone, their eyes in a perpetual state of fear as they struggle to breathe.
December 4, 2024 at 10:53 PM
I also understand why when I heard a bunch of teenagers chanting homophobic slurs outside of an elementary school that I wanted to punch them. That doesn't mean that I would condone doing it. They're not necessarily interchangeable.

I'm assuming that's at him because I certainly never said that so if it were to be directed at me, once again it seems like projection. But if you were speaking to him, yeah he does and he is not hiding it lol
December 4, 2024 at 10:47 PM
I didn't fire the shots, I'm not sanctioning the shots, but I can understand the motive behind the shots. Are you more important than anyone else that you get to determine who deserves to live and who deserves to die? Because I never claimed to be so is that projection or assumption?

And his responsibilities and choices as a CEO have cost who knows how many lives. I can personally attest to three.
December 4, 2024 at 10:36 PM
I'm not a fan of celebrating death either, but it's not hard to understand why people view the CEO of an insurance company as a villain. People can go broke, can try to without needed medication or die because insurance companies are more interested in profits than customers.

He wasn't specifically blaming UHC but the system as a whole. If it had been the CEO of Aetna, BCBS, Molina, NHP, AARP, etc he would have the same reaction.
December 4, 2024 at 10:15 PM
I'm aware that they work differently, thank you, I was speaking to the medical insurance system as a whole as being corrupt. I don't understand the mindset of "one's bad why not just make them all bad". Do you also think that people don't deserve to get help with student debt because you paid yours?
December 4, 2024 at 10:14 PM
So because one is corrupt you think they all have the right to be? They all need to be capped, preferably by people who have no links to manufacturers and their profits.
December 4, 2024 at 10:11 PM
I do actually. I worked in a specialty pharmacy for AIDS and cancer patients and I know that pills can cost thousands of dollars each. Did you not see the part where I said that the healthcare system in itself is also corrupt? Insurance benefits from the corruption.
December 4, 2024 at 10:09 PM
It is illegal to pay cash for prescriptions when you have Medicaid.
December 4, 2024 at 10:08 PM
I too work with insurance companies & the way they change their preferred & covered products so they can wage competitive warfare with companies is ridiculous. They could be profitable and not be unethical but they simply don't want to. They would also increase chargeback timeframes if they cared.
December 4, 2024 at 10:07 PM
PAs can be denied for any number of reasons, even with adequate paperwork.. I've been in multiple parts of the healthcare industry for almost 20 years and I've had to refuse to give small children antibiotics to ear infections because they could lose their insurance
December 4, 2024 at 10:03 PM
The healthcare industry in this company is inherently corrupt but you can't discount the fact that insurance companies exist to primarily take advantage of this. They advertise that without them, you can go bankrupt by being human and suffering wear and tear on the body

Just as long as you didn't spend the next 20 minutes in that window sniffing your fingers with your eyes rolled in the back of your head.
