Earlier this week I took a much needed day off, didn't realized how burnt out I was getting working on stuff everyday.

Feeling better now though and tackled something I've been putting off which is adding the ability to specify game logic in Unity's inspector.

An image displaying the unity inspector for interactables in the scene. It consists of a list of possible actions the players can perform on the item ("interactable", "examinable", etc) and data on how to respond to it. The main point is to illustrate the BRANCH response, which chooses from one of two nested responses based on specified game state, An image showing more of the scene view as compared to the previous image to give context for what editing looks like. You can see the scene hierarchy (list of interactable elements and other bits) on the left, the scene view (which shows what the game looks like) zoomed in on the ventilation grate being edited, and the inspector (the list of all properties for the item, basically everything in the first image) on the right.

Now that X is default allowing AI art to be created from stealing real photos- I’ll be here. It will not replicate the effort & time it takes to do hair/makeup background/lighting/designing shoots on a whim nor replicate the artist friends I’ve met by doing this hobby for the last 8 years

I keep forgetting to post about what I'm working on, but this weekend I got room transitions and a typing effect for messages done.

You can also kind of see the parallax effect I added a while back to give it a kind of 2.5D effect as you move your mouse around. #gamedev #indiedev #HUSK

Concept art/illustration for a suit of armor of the Order of the Fly. It is a heavily ridged and fluted harness of gothic plate armor with a skirt of catshead scales and a foot joust helmet elongated into a barbed bloody stinger. The back of the armor feature two sets of pauldrons, each bearing a pair of segmented bug wings made of the same material as the armor, featuring the same ridges and fluting as well as detailed openwork taken from Polish huszar helmets. The suit of armor is bare metal with a strong brown patina and blood stains; it is pierced with holes as if it had gone porous on its edges, with some metallic growths shaped like feathers sprouting in various places.
