This reminds me of a video I saw of a guy crashing out about his new dishwasher needing a wifi connection. Why does an appliance need yo connect to the internet? Why does it need an app to do certain basic functions that used to just be a button on the appliance itself?

I really wish someone.. anyone would make a narrative driven FPS game like HL2 again. Titanfall 2 was close and I still feel like it's a sin that series became yet another battle royal rather than continuing the story

I want to do better, I want to be a better person, but I feel like this pit I've dug myself into is so deep that neither I or anyone else can get me out of here, and there have been more days lately where I feel like I shouldn't even try anymore...

Now I'm sitting here with the bank constantly calling me to pay for overdue bills that I can't afford, desperately trying to find ways to pay them off, too afraid to ask my family for help AGAIN, not knowing how to ask others for help... not feeling like I deserve help from others...

Every time I have applied to a job I never get any sort of response, which sucks so much because of how much effort it is for me to apply since even just looking at job postings gives me a panic attack. I feel like a pathetic excuse for a human who is scarred of working a "normal" job...

the point of a movie is not to be done watching it. the point of a song is not to be done listening to it. the gamers' obsession with completion as the only motivator to play a game has directly led to the medium's worst traits. "AI gaming ghost" is a reflection of the lack of willingness to engage

I'm going to get better at music. Record a couple cover songs and post them. Stream more often and hopefully meet more fun creative people along the way

Same dev also tried to wave off the genAI they use by saying that they have an artist review the art and that it would be "too much work for our artists to make all the content themselves".... bud you're making a Tycoon/management game... how many art assets do you need? Maybe scale back a bit?
