Posting this here since barely anyone looks at my Bsky but I feel like I need to post something. I spent pretty much all of 2025 unemployed, I honestly thought I had a chance of making an ok living editing videos but that opportunity fell through and I have not had anything else since then...

I'm tired of ending each year with "I survived" 2026 is going to be the year where I change that. I won't just "survive" in 2026 I'm going to "THRIVE". I'm going to make all sorts stuff this year, even if it sucks I'm going to make stuff anyways.

"We USE child labor to make the product, but our product will not have any child labor built into it" Sure the end product doesn't contain any AI, but you still used it during the creation and further supported its use and that is what we are upset about.
"we USE ai, but our game wont CONTAIN it" is a clarification that no one has ever cared about & now CEOs are using it as a wedge to get their foot in the door as a part of a long term plan into normalizing AI, just like how 'it's just placeholder' was used with E33. dont cede even an inch of ground

Heading out for an interview at.... a fish processing plant...... I was really hoping in my 30s I wouldn't have to return to a job like this but right now it's the only way I'll be able to pay the bills 😓

I've played a game where I'm pretty sure a majority of code for it was written by AI. And that game was one of thee buggiest most poorly optimized games I've ever played.

I saw someone call Ai a Thneed and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a PERFECT analogy. The Thneed was an all-purpose tool that didn't do anything really useful. It was a fad that did major damage to the environment to make the Onceler a billionare. It left no real lasting impact, only damage.
