You were a SS13 admin?? Dude I played that game since like 2006 or 2007. Haven't played much in years though. Were you on tgstation? I was on goon but I can't imagine you were an admin there because they had zero tolerance for stuff like that.

Not to mention the epidemic of greyed out buttons that don't tell you why they're greyed out. Jesus christ. Working in IT iver the last 3-4 years has been so demoralizing when you deal with this stuff under pressure every day. It's like they want to make it hard on purpose.

Then, when you go to the right screen it says "updating..." but it doesn't fucking tell you what its updating. The screen firmware? Base OS update? Who knows. Will it make my pinpad useable? Why doesn't the pinpad tell me its updating? So many questions and I swear to god I see this everywhere.

The Japanese article is extremely clear that he's saying human in a world of AI, human creation needs to sound out. He specifically goes on to say that in the early days of gaming, he remembers the titles that stood out were ones that came out of Japan with fresh creative ideas.

Genuine question. What kind of juice causes companies to think this is a good idea? I've gotten to the point where I dread updates for any enterprise application.
