Project Semicolon – stylized as Project ; [the word “project” followed by a literal semicolon punctuation mark] – is an American nonprofit organization known for its advocacy of mental health wellness and its focus as an anti-suicide initiative. Founded in 2013, the movement's aim is "presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction and self-injury". They are known for encouraging people to tattoo the punctuation mark semicolon (;) as a form of solidarity between people dealing with mental illness or the death of someone from suicide.

Two bowls of hot stew from the street festival lie forgotten. Barely touched.

The world dwindles to the man sobbing in Viktor’s arms.

“It’s j-just like how M-Mama makes it,” he hiccups. “’m sorry. I don’t regret ‘nything—” He clutches Viktor’s hand, their wedding bands clinking together.

“—j-just…miss h-her…so m-much.” And Viktor will never fault Jayce for letting his thoughts linger on his old life.

Someone approaches.

The stranger lowers the hood of their cloak using two metal fingers on their left hand.

The warning growl dies in Viktor’s throat.

I was given God, with salt and sweet together. I was given a piece of meat. I loved the flesh. I was given bread only. I was given only water. I loved the coolness of the water. The water got between me and the feast.

Word Prompt – smother

Jayce—audacious Defender, Golden Boy Jayce—urges his man to pin him down. To smother his upturned, panting lips with kisses.

He pulls back to breathe and Viktor growls.

He quiets his mate with a trembling hand against his chest. Feels his heartbeat under the curls dusted there.

Warm. Solid. Jayce’s rock.

He arches into Viktor’s arms.

“Please,” Jayce whispers. “Please.”

Finally, a snaggletoothed mouth snarls against Jayce’s neck and bites. Devotee before a feast of holy flesh—oh, Viktor is hungry.

Sunlight glints off the iridescent swirls within the shell pried open in Jayce’s hand…
The surface of the pearl between Viktor’s fingers…
The four droplets of Jayce’s eternal crown.

Jayce’s voice pulls Viktor from his spiral.

“It’s precious, you know,” he says, closing Viktor’s fingers around the pearl.

“Just like you.”

“Just like every mark you leave on me.”

He raises Viktor’s closed hand to his mouth. Saltwater kisses each knuckle.
“They remind me I’m yours.”

Viktor nods.

Later he rocks within Jayce and listens to his cries wash over him like the tide.

What I really love is thinking about post-canon scenarios where they understand they have both been disabled and profoundly changed and take turns taking care of each other.
