Thank you!! I used a latex resist I peeled off before firing, and I think the mishima carving may have acted as a “moat.” Glazes are sapphire float and ancient jasper. This is my first time trying this method and it really worked out!

Every time I go to the MET or the Cloisters in NYC I feel the same way. I wish there were more unique, maybe even artisanal items, as opposed to expensive jewelry and the same five pins designs that have been on sale for a decade…… you’d think a museum gift shop would be idk creative

They keep blaming insurance and ofc, I believe that to a point. Insurance keeps changing things constantly. But it’s so lmao to be like “welp, we aren’t taking it anymore, figure it out or pay the $150 out of pocket for a specialist :)” bro you think I’m going there for FUN?

Man I’ve been going to the same endocrinologist since I was a teenager, and last year they stopped taking my insurance. I was directly told you either find a new endocrinologist (and none will take your insurance w/i an hour drive) or pay out of pocket. Also had to drop my dentist off 20 years :/
