In the aftermath of the 1917 Halifax Explosion in Canada, Boston mobilized a relief train to aid our northerly neighbors. A century later, each winter Nova Scotia still sends us a towering Christmas tree that we light together on Boston Common—a symbol of friendship across boundaries & generations.

Weird how not a single one of the newspapers and magazines that have been breathlessly churning out "cancel culture" thinkpieces for the past four years have managed to use the word "censorship" at all to describe the most rapid and comprehensive campaign of mass-censorship in recent US history.

I adored Sacred Bodies, the art is beautiful and the world/society building packed into a short space was so incredible

i have 6 very minor scratches/cuts on my hands from the past week of cutting and manipulating sheet glass and it's weirdly validating having evidence of being an artist in view whenever i look at my hands
