CQT hosted a globe-trotting quantum light source in October for its first and only stop (so far) in Asia. The visit was part of QuanTour, an outreach project supported by the German Physical Society for the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ).

Celebrating another successful defence! 🙌🍾 Nie Hanlin's thesis was on "Quantum-Controlled Thermodynamics and Information Processing" and his advisor is CQT's Kwek Leong Chuan. Next, he will join the group of Alexia Auffèves as a Research Fellow, focusing on quantum energetics. Congrats Dr Nie! 🎓
