Received email from my representative crowing about the administration’s 1st week, welcoming me to the Golden Age. Ugh, I could spit, and had to reply. Vehemently opposed a return to the spoils system and ignoring the Pendleton Act. Referenced Garfield’s assassination attempt & Gilded Age disparity.
