Let's think about what games do!

I waited more than ten years for Attack on Titan to conclude, and I hated waiting so much, but I would hate it more if I had this show that could be as good as AoT was but it didn't have enough time in the oven to shine. That is what I am concerned about.

I see that the S2 episodes are slightly longer, which is pretty cool, butr idk if that can really solve this issue with still only having 8 episodes that are around 30 minutes long.

All I am trying to say is that I hope this show takes its time with its world and story, it deserves it.

Tbf I did binge the entire season in one sitting, something I never do, so idk I just don't want to sound like I'm shitting on its quality. Just that I see how much better it could be and that frustrates me.

And, of course, as soon as this gets resolved, Lucifer exits the scene and only returns for a last-minute reinforcement in the last episode.

It is honestly extremely frustrating. This has the skeleton of something amazing. I *can see* how great it could be, but instead of that it is... pretty good

And I think it's my favorite scene in the entire season, but it suffers from the same thing I mentioned earlier. Lucifer's conflict with being let down is brought up and resolved instantly. Charlie'sn "daddy issues" are treated the same way.

It's just too fast. We can take nothing in.

Idk if this show is criticized for "irony posioning" (and some moments did feel like that) but there is no way to have a team create this touching scene without thinking that a bunch of it was also meant to be taken straight. This is a very sincere scene.

Characters are not underdeveloped per se, but I do feel like we never spend enough time with them.

As in, literally, screen time. Everything comes and goes too quickly.

I was also not a fan of a few of the irony-poisoned moments, it is at least refreshing to see a show play itself straight.

Idk if it is because of its runtime, or due to the amount of episodes that it had approved, or whatever, but it constantly felt to me that the big moments didn't have enough setup and there was almost no time to enjoy payoffs because it constantly needed to get to the next scene.

Man this looks so dumb in 2025 but I remember being terrified of the eel in Super Mario 64 too lol, I didn't play OoT as a kid but I would probably have been scared too.

No duology has tried to make so much as Tellius, and I don’t know if there will be another thing like it again. Tellius stays with me not because its perfect, but because it dared to try. That is why, despite its many critical flaws, I still treasure it.

I want to write about how Micaiah was done dirty. I want to talk about how Elincia is underutilized and Ike is used too much. I want to talk about how the Blood Pact almost breaks both games. There is just too much to talk about with RD.
