More looks at V2… on a dress form a few sizes too small for it. I mostly finished it the way I plan to do the final, so lapel is finished, belt loops, etc.

V2 of the jacket… cropped bc I look like I got hit by a truck today (food poisoning…….) but this mock-up was fully lined lol. The outer shell of the sleeve is 1.25” longer than the liner so it “slouches” like that. Will grab pics of the whole thing proper when it’s daylight again.

Sciel’s patterns are finally 90% there… I’m very excited to finally sew the finals. All downhill from here! (Also is this not just a Rey Star Wars costume in muslin… that’s so funny.)

10. Kama's Floral Arrow and bow from Fate:GO. This one is so spindly and has so much going on, but it breaks down pretty reasonably to print. Some of those frond bits aren't fun to print but... minimal support and seams relative to the design!

I’m mocking up the entirety of Sciel before I start sewing anything final because there’s sooo many proportioning risks! Tank and pants and sashes not pictured. Capelet is finalized, just needed to mock it up again to check fit with jacket.

This kind of thing is so… baffling to me. It’s an algorithmic problem with Reddit but it’s also just frustrating that cosplay is seen as inherently sexual or a pipeline to pornography, AND held to a double standard that illustrated fanart isn’t.

Form resin is so fucking pricey that sometimes when i run a cleaning mesh I let it hang/drip overnight to not waste usable resin coating it

Shoulder is gonna be a piss-off because it's being modelled for the kit, so flat and then rubber cast –– which may not be the most fun option for 3D print files. It'll need TPU or a very scary heat form to curve. But it gets the best moulding results flat and is most efficient to model that way :(

The start of a kit we're doing for Rumi's "Golden" outfit from Kpop Demon Hunters... that descending cuban chain earring was a lil odd and I still need to figure out if it's FDMable. (It's not print-in-place but I might make a variant that is)

It’s all fine and well when a shoe lets you “perspiration easy” or whatever but one of the examples above is for a submersible heater that has no shield/outer grate, electrifies the water, and trips circuit breakers fast. This is something that shouldn’t be sold with dogshit copy or instructions.

Amazon has looked like this for much longer than generative AI, it’s just an overall drop in standards. It’s not even machine translation, it’s countless typographical errors and basic formatting problems.
