I originally published this almost two years ago: kyefox.com/beyond-masto...

Watching folks who had the same idea make it happen, and so quickly, has been neat to watch.

Shot you a DM, but maybe better to post here for others as well:

A good way to check if someone is bridged regardless of handle is to either check for bridgyOriginalUrl or the bridging label: pdsls.dev/at://did:plc...

Oh, I'm getting this on posts made on the same PDS as well. A couple of people have reached out about trying to reply to me and getting a "this post is deleted" error. Might be different things then!

I'm seeing the same issue on my self-hosted PDS too 🤔

Bounce Lets You Ghost Mastodon and Take Your Fans to Bluesky (Or Vice Versa)

Bounce 2 is launching Oct 20, letting Mastodon users jump to Bluesky without ditching their follower list

Users can migrate or merge accounts—fans come with you, posts don’t

You will be able to move in either direction
Bounce introduces a tool to move your Mastodon account to Bluesky | TechCrunch
Moving accounts between Mastodon and Bluesky is about to get much easier, thanks to Bounce 2.

In this case, we migrate your Mastodon account *into* Bridgy Fed; if you already bridged your ATProto account, we merge it into your existing bridged profile.

Really cool to see @tynanpurdy.com create this combined feed across networks!

This is the future we imagine at @anew.social: regardless of the platform, tool, or technology you use, you should be able to find and connect with your people.

People, not platforms.

I'm doing an AMAA, ask me anything atproto, for the rest of the day. Got a question you've always wondered about ATProtocol and the atmosphere? Ask below and I will do my best to answer or at least point you in the right direction! As always there's no dumb questions, we all started somewhere.

I have! I think I mentioned that I saw Chee Aun testing some ideas out for Bsky, but nothing concrete yet, but maybe I'm misremembering
