Or that Brendan Carr, Trump's pick to head the FCC, sent Meta a letter right after the election telling Zuck that fact checking was against the First Amendment and Carr was poised to take action if Meta kept fact checking.

I hope there are many other FRS's who will also do this - there is a massive contradiction between the scientific standards and integrity of the Royal Society and having Musk as a Fellow. When all other avenues fail, it is regrettable that action such as this is likely to be the only recourse left 🧵
