Any real journalist interviewing Trump regime officials/propagandists would have been armed w/ accurate economic data & consumer prices ahead of time & confronted him/her. Corporate mainstream media outlets aren't doing their jobs (well, other then serving their plutocrat masters & the oligarchy).

The billionaires of Silicon Valley Big Tech/Finance certainly understood, which is why they promoted (& continue to promote) disinfo related to public health on social media & backed RFK Jr.'s rise & HHS role. Poorly-regulated wellness & health industries are blue ocean growth opportunities to them.

Now, to some extent, the melding of wellness with the far-right was probably inevitable just given how big the industry has grown and how much money is made on underregualted products.

But the pandemic—and the promise of a new base—hastened the convergence.

I can just picture our former Dartmouth Govy Professor from the 1990s Tom Nichols (one the few to whom Far-Right rag The Dartmouth Review gave consistently high marks in its annual start of the academic year edition in September) shaking his head disapprovingly... Whatever.

Some of these immigrant exile communities are very far to the Right...many fascist. Assyrians (whether Chaldean Catholic or Church of the East) are like much of the Cuban, Nicaraguan, Venezuelan, Vietnamese, post-Marcos/Loyalist Filipino émigré communities: hardcore Right-wing and pro-Authoritarian.
