Occurred to me today that the problem described here - artists using preceding art as reference, without really understanding what they're representing - is fundamentally the same as hallucination in 'AI' tools. Just a lot slower and with opportunities to teach to the errors.

It's a weird line of questioning though, because it presupposes that all rich people earned their money in some way that is explicable, which is not at all in line with our everyday experience. No one knows why anyone's rich, really.

Thoughts on m how we solve the housing problem:

We need more houses. So we need more builders. So we need more training.
