Sigh. Leftists invented whole aesthetics around using technology w/o destroying the world. Anarchist transfems teach classes on solar power and spawn three new electronic music genres weekly. We are notoriously into trains, libraries, vaccines.

We just didn't fall for a scam and now y'all are sore.

“why do you hate technology” as though “technology” were some discrete entity divorced entirely from the context of what it does and what it creates, rather than a category so broad as to constitute reality itself

Bad news for everyone but me I guess! (I like coffee fine, I've just never felt any real need to drink it regularly.)

Btw, the reason all these rich guys are having to turn to AI assistants to run their lives is that they don't realise how reliant their predecessors were on the invisible labour of women.

I get that some people have very complicated jobs/lives & I’m not saying tools can’t help, but an awful lot of ‘AI assistant’ stuff comes across as a bit cargo cult, people feeling they’re more successful if they the trappings of a Big Important Boss

Does your sofa check your emails? Does your lampshade annotate newspaper articles? Does your backpack lie to you in a way that sounds convincing? Does your bookshelf cause a RAM shortage? DOES IT? WANT THIS. YOU HAVE TO WANT THIS. YOU HAVE TO.

We know that the term "cesarean section" doesn't really derive from actual events involving Julius Caesar or his ancestors because, prior to modern antibiotics and other medical advances, delivering a child by surgery was basically always fatal to the mother. It was only ever tried as a last resort.
before antibiotics did people just die all the time from everything?

Yes, yes they did, including a substantial percentage of all children born, well into the early 20th century. You can google child-mortality charts and everything.

People born after 1945 were almost literally the first generation in human history not to experience mass death.

Remember they think it’s your responsibility to vote for someone who’s ideologically opposed to your existence, so that someone who’s equally ideologically opposed to your existence in a different coloured hat doesn’t get power, and not their responsibility to give you someone worth voting for

414) Horsebot. When developing Unicornbot, one of the issues was the horn interface firmware. In order to progress with the project, we made a number of hornless prototypes. So, here's Horsebot: it gets a bit sad because it isn't magical but it's still a very good robot. #SmallRobotsRemastered

HELLO I WAS A QUEER TEEN IN THE 1990s AND THE ARGUMENTS AGAINST SOCIAL TRANSITION NOW ARE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM THE ARGUMENTS AGAINST "LETTING" US BE (at the time, for me) GAY OR LESBIAN THEN.

They all rest on the belief that it's inherently better to be straight (then)/cis (now) and that's BS.
Hilary Cass here arguing for children to be prevented from being known by a preferred name or getting a haircut in case it encourages them to continue later in life to transition.

Hilary Cass acts like gender variant children should have the transness hazed out of them.

I think what I find most offensive about this is the idea that government is so deeply interested in the mental health of teenagers, when it's presently trying to cover up a massive increase in suicides that appear directly connected to its legislation around healthcare for trans teens
