AND if you borrow an ebook, the book just comes right onto your phone and you don't have to bother dragging it across from the book piracy site. It's actually easier to get the thing from the library, people.
Anybody who is like “Piracy is activism!”—trust me, supporting your local library is about 1000% more effective activism, and it’s still free for you and authors still get paid!

Canadian TV is amazing. The Murdoch Mysteries writing room is like, "should we make another episode with Nikola Tesla?"
best we've got right now is Murdoch Mysteries, a detective show set in late 1800's Toronto, where the lead characters regularly invent modern technology by accident. Detective Murdoch created the Roomba. Tatiana Maslany's brother plays a gay jewish cop. It's incredible.
