There have been many shameful moments on the part of the White House Press Corps in the last 9 months but the lack of meaningful pushback or follow-up questions to Trump’s constant claims that a major US city has been set on fire for weeks & most of its businesses have been destroyed is damning.

If you are not diabetic, you do not need the hassle of having a sensor with a filament needle inserted into your tissue adhesived to your body 24/7 so you can find out what your blood sugar is to improve your mood and help a paid nutritionist ‘optimize’ your diet. This is nonsense.

Instead of finishing her residency an actually practicing as a doctor, she went into “functional medicine” which Wikipedia summarizes as “a form of alternative medicine that encompasses many unproven and disproven methods and treatments”. It’s quackery. It’s pseudoscience. It’s not medicine.

UPDATE: In emailed statement to me / @reason.com, DHS alleges that WGN-TV producer Debbie Brockman "threw objects at Border Patrol’s car and she was placed under arrest for assault on a federal law enforcement officer."

The costumes serve the function of masking the violent extremism to make the direct action appear like a family-friendly gathering on camera, and to whitewash the past ultraviolence. In 2019, Antifa devised a similar plot by giving out free "milkshakes" at a protest. But they couldn't contain their bloodthirst and nearly killed me when they saw me. I mean, the problem is that the order says “unless the Defendants have probable cause to believe that the individual has committed a crime” and presumably they’re interpreting ‘obstruction of justice’ as broadly as possible to justify their harassment of journalists.
