If the result was long term peace, I would give Trump one Nobel Peace prize when a true cease fire starts and second Peace prize when Israel has fully withdrawn from Gaza and a Palestinian government is in control.
The Jews originated from Israel and many were expelled by the Romans. They have never forgotten their roots. They have been persecuted for hundreds of years. I can't see why they should not return to their homeland. However, I believe that the rights of Palestinians should be preserved.
I have read lots of Jewish history. The genetics show that the Jews who have moved to Palestine are mostly of levantine descent with a significant proportion of European genes. The people they are most closely related to are the Palestinians.
What they are doing is truly horrific, but it is in no way comparable to what the Nazis did. Israel wants to ethnically cleanse. I totally condemn the killing and the ethnic cleansing. I believe that the Palestinians have the right to remain and the right to return.
It is not in the slightest accurate. For instance, 90% of Jews in Poland were killed by the Nazis. More than 2.7 million Polish Jews were killed. This was an attempt to kill all Jews. Israel is not trying to kill all Palestinians in Gaza.
Your analogy is not reasonable. The Nazis killed millions of Jews as a deliberate attempt to kill all Jews. Israel is not trying to kill all Palestinians. I absolutely abhor Israels actions in Gaza but to compare it with the actions of the Nazis is just wrong.
I condemn the apartheid of Israel. I don't believe that Israel is engaged in genocide but I absolutely condemn their actions in Gaza and their actions in appropriating Palestinian lands in the West Bank.
I agree that the current government of Israel is apartheid, expansionist, and attempting ethnic cleansing. I do not support this government. I sadly have to agree that Israel is becoming evermore racistI continue to hope for an Israel/Palestine where Jews and Palestinians live in peace.
I can't tell you how the world should be run. I can only tell you my beliefs. I believe that the Jews were expelled from Israel circa 2000 years ago and that they have been persecuted ever since. I believe that they should have the right of return to their homeland.
I am not being disingenuous. I believe that the crisis has been going on for far more than 2 years. I detest the current Israeli government. I believe that what is happening in Gaza is a crime against humanity.
