Universities claim “We take misconduct seriously.”

Then why does the same abuse happen, at the same schools, over and over? The data tells a different story: buff.ly/3W5dVb2

Let me tell you about me, about an actual human being who is being affected by the current administration.

I was born in Tennessee. I was my parents first child. I’m the oldest of three.

I moved to Setauket, NY when I was seven and grew up there.

Funding opportunities for #eatingdisorders research are far and few between compared to other mental and physical illnesses, and there may be even less now due to NIH cuts. If you study eating disorders in any discipline I would love to connect and collaborate—let’s continue this important work.

If you are a #masscomm scholar please consider voting for Matt Haught for AEJMC vice president. He has been a dear friend and mentor for years, and I am confident in his abilities as a strategic leader. He is kind, innovative, and has a clear vision of growth and success for this organization!

The words “barriers” and “women” will get you flagged? My work is specifically about inequity in healthcare, mental illness, and pregnant women! Vulnerable populations! I had been searching the NIH and NSF for any grant that could help continue my work pre-inauguration. What now?
🚨BREAKING. From a program officer at the National Science Foundation, a list of keywords that can cause a grant to be pulled. I will be sharing screenshots of these keywords along with a decision tree. Please share widely. This is a crisis for academic freedom & science.
