It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Conservative billionaires are funding a coordinated effort to dismantle public education to pay for private school vouchers that largely benefit wealthy families and enable corporations to avoid their fair share in taxes.

Now they have a friend in the White House.

Today my toddler’s teacher informed us that he is the most proficient, and loudest, singer in his day care classroom. My job here is done.

Took our toddler to the mall today. A great time was had by all (surprisingly these are not tantrums).

Today my 2.5 y/o changed his own diaper at daycare and put on his pants while his teachers weren’t looking. Then he came home and had eaten all his vegetables at daycare and proceeded to eat a full cup of broccoli for dinner. I do not believe this is my child.

I take back my previous post. This image is giving me more anxiety and motivating me to do my daily Duolingo like never before.

I suppose it’s “too much Frozen” around the time your 2-year-old starts regularly asking “why do you shut me out, dada?”

Why do we gift people Christmas themed things on Christmas? My toddler is wearing exclusively Christmas themed clothing that he got on Christmas because it will fit him for another two months… Normalize giving Christmas themed Halloween presents.

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

Nothing motivates me to do my daily Duolingo more than the image of Duo in front of his burning home. Truly. Gets me every time.

PROP - PR Over Policy.

Don't confuse them.

He is flooding the zone. He knows that media will cover everything he does. Getting people upset. Which helps give him more coverage of the upset people. All just talking about him.

Dems need to be strategic.

Watch my amazing friend’s podcast! It definitely inspired me to delete all Meta apps and the “new” TikTok (RIP)

The price of eggs in the US is spiking, mostly due to #H5N1 bird flu. Solving the problem requires urgent, important communications from the CDC & FDA* and rapid development of research by the NIH**

Egg prices are soaring again. Here’s why and what to expect
Bird flu has killed millions of hens in recent weeks, shrinking the supply of eggs and hiking up prices at grocery stores.

I have and will continue to. But you know why I say it here ? Because @bsky.app is 30m strong and growing quickly. The collective wisdom and influence of users here is far greater than any individual democrat.

I can't say it enough. Bluesky can be the influence that can counter RW media.
No offense, Mark, but you have influence and power most of us don’t. Why don’t you speak up to those in DC you have connections with? Actions speak louder than words as you well know.

Watching “The Diplomat” is equal parts rage-inducing and comforting. On one hand, Tr*mp is clearly just the puppet, and we should really fear who’s pulling the strings. On the other, I like to imagine there are more capable, decent humans working on tearing it all down from the inside.

Childcare: it costs as much as a second mortgage, but plot twist—you won’t even get to use it because your kid will be home sick every other day. And you’ll still need to figure out how to work full-time while watching them. Love this for us.
