I want to take a moment to thank the entire Elias Law Group team who worked on the Texas redistricting case as well as our fearless clients. The thirteen Black and Latino voters we represented stood up to challenge Texas's unprecedented mid-decade redistricting. We all ow them a debt of gratitude.

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

Everything that’s happened in the US since 2016 has been really eye opening. 10 years ago I never would have believed how dedicated a significant amount of people are to harming others. To think that people are losing jobs, healthcare, food security, and despite all of that, people cheer it on.

People right now in this country are struggling, choosing between food, medication and shelter. Money that could pay for those needs are deducted from paychecks to pay taxes. Those taxes are being used how? To facilitate policies that increase expenses. To remove social programs. Insane.

I grew up watching The Twilight Zone and never imagined I’d be living through a real-life episode, one filled with all the horror and disbelief I once only saw on screen. Wishing we could all wake up from this nightmare.

Every time I call customer service for any reason the relentless upselling is incredibly draining. These companies literally try to squeeze every single cent out of you before they finally get to the reason why you called. Even after that it continues ugh

Democrats pass SO MUCH legislation that helps people and instead of talking about it, they spend SO MUCH time talking about republicans.

It’s demoralizing to watch grifters grow absurdly wealthy by spreading lies that make their audiences feel good, while scientists lose research funding, some lose their jobs (as I did), and hiring freezes sweep across universities and medical centers.

Racism is why we can’t have nice things. So many White people want to make sure Black people don’t benefit from policies and programs. So much effort is put into keeping our people down.

It’s wild watching more and more people rely on AI. It turns out we didn’t have to worry about robots being built for the robot takeover. They already have humans to use as avatars.

Racist white people are a toxic parasite on this world. Everyone else wants to move forward and live in a functional, healthy society where everyone can thrive. Racist white people are like a parasite that attaches itself to the world and prevents it from being fully healthy.

Racism is a hell of a drug. People are willing to wreck their lives and this country just for a hit.

Someone tell the NY Times that Hillary is accepting a plane from Qatar. Then maybe they’ll stop being pussies and start covering it for the corruption that it is.

It’s so sad and depressing to see people dying needlessly in wars around the world. All because of a few male egos and their need for control. Sick and Senseless. Any one of our lives, at any moment could be ended in some strike because a psychopathic bloodthirsty leader orders it.

People say how could you be against government efficiency? What if you hired someone to energy audit your home, inspect it and identify ways to save energy and money. The first day they show up with an ax and start tearing wires out of your walls. Are you going to let them destroy your home?
