CORRECT! I feel this KEENLY as Gen X because Boomers have been doing it since we were young. That’s two generations ago, for the love of God. (I realize most of Congress is even older than that.)

I’m 50 and I think 35 is perfectly fine for most leadership if you have the skill set. I feel like 45-65 is the ideal range for President, simply because of life experience. But that’s one of the biggest jobs in the world. If you don’t have sense at 35, you’ll never have it anyway.
