Supreme Court has made it legal for Trump to commit crimes against US, but he would rather limit the amount of people who know about his crimes. The corruption, weakening of our security, end of our democracy is happening now, not being threatened in the future.
Trump fires all the inspector generals and the NYT says this "threatened to end the traditional independence of the internal watchdogs." Why is the word "threatened" in that sentence? Sort of like the three bullets to the head "threatens" to end the person's life.
