This is not a photo of protestors in Portland “ICE fishing”, as clever as that sounds.

I can’t find the photographer so far, but it’s been online since at least 2013, and those are Toronto cycling cops, not American ICE agents.

Note the uniforms, shorts, bikes, and lack of masks.

Fuck. I could've watched it today. Hopefully it's still in theaters on my next day off.

the AI craze really does just feel like a "pivot to spam", because saturating everywhere with low quality automatically generated content used to be called spam.

No, but he has deadite privileges, on account of that sailor's mouth.

*imagines Ash busting down the door and roundhouse kicking Reagan in the face*

This cover called out to be at Blockbuster one fateful summer vacation afternoon. I'm amazed I ever found such a thing, only for it to disappear almost entirely into the ether.

I'm not kidding this movie is so rare, my best friend *never* found torrents of it.

Iki-jigoku, aka Living Hell: A Japanese Chainsaw Massacre.

You can only watch by buying the last DVD copy currently listed on Amazon for $24.95 plus sales tax and shipping where apply.

Yeah, well, the Bri'ish also pronounced "ma'am" as "mum" like they got some sorta collective oedipal complex, so why should we start taking their word for it now?

Man, I got a hankering for some Mexican street corn right now. I wish Mexico was real.
radactspacemud.bsky.social
I just polished off an entire baggy thing of Mexican street corn "inspired" trail mix. Very disappointing flavor.

"Awww, a lazy little Mexican man!" - almost me, but I stopped myself before saying it out loud.

It was a chihuahua splooting atop a glass patio table. I genuinely didn't realize the racism until a split second after starting to say "awww."

Trump is surely sundowning and being fed misinformation but it is also true that any President that thought a city was in flames and all commerce had stopped would send more than a couple hundred member of some National Guard there. He knows he's bullshitting.

A new Pikmin game set in WW2 where you're little gremlins fucking up German war machines and causing hilariously violent mechanical malfunctions.

donald trump is a fascistic leader who has surrounded himself with people who are explicitely pro-fascistic that want to end democracy as we know it and punish anyone who dissents. pretending otherwise leads me to believe you agree with them doing this

More propaganda with painfully normal people zip-tied at the side of the road please, this will for sure convince the American people that you're the good guys

Damn shame. There's a brilliant game here, but it's lost in a morass of over-complication and unnecessary gamefication of every single one of its aspects.

That, and the currencies and limited uses on tools discourages me from experimenting with everything the game provides. AND ALSO the fact that all of the special techniques also rely on the heal mechanic's currency completely de-incentivizes on experimenting with combat altogether.

So I think the combat system in Silksong kinda sucks now? Like, in early stages its fun if simple, but man, they give you so little health relative to how hard some later low level enemies hit that it stops being engaging and just frustrating. In fact, combat *gets in the way* of the platforming.
