To be safe, I've run a disk verification tool and said SSD shows up as being in a perfect state, no errors or damaged sectors. I'm more and more thinking that what happened was Windows shitting the bed instead of an actual issue with the drive. Which wouldn't surprise me in the slightest

I don't know what I did to appease the machine spirit (aside from complaining about it on the internet), but it's working again as if nothing had happened. Will keep an eye on it, but at the moment I'm just glad it's functioning again and anything I care for is copied and stored elsewhere
