Reminder that NOT consuming bad news all the time is literally self-care.

Being online you are constantly bombarded with information shoved in your face.

Remember to take breaks from it, whether it's a couple hours or a couple days. It really helps emotional/empathy fatigue and burn out.

We are lower and lower on our non perishables. Eating maybe one meal a day.

Commissions barely even trickle in. And verbs paycheck -

Old man Prince here, I've been around since Deviantart in 2010; running away and seeking alternate options is a non solution. Time and time again, this has been proven.

I don't think motivating people to move to other platforms to avoid the stupid censorship rules is a good solution. Quite the opposite. There is NO SAFE space for artists nowadays, if we don't fight back this will only get worse and worse

For my money, trauma recovery is inconsistent w/ relationships where we are used, but not seen or valued.

That sh*t replicates what many survivors grew up with-- and if nothing changes, nothing changes.
