Greetings. Welcome to my latest attempt at social media.
(I'd just write stories if I could, but marketing isn't free, so here I am.)
I write gritty sci-fi, weird horror, & pagan fantasy.
I don't use any A.I. for my stories, books, or games.
Do come & see if my writing & your imagination get along.

They say 'the machines of the future' will be as smart as people.

Okay, but WHICH people?

That's kinda important.

I update whenever there's a valid reason (new books, link updates, revisions/corrections et al). Can't really comment on style as mine's got a lot of books hung on it, but you're welcome to ask whatever you like and I'll do my best to give a sensible answer. lothp.org

In an open letter, Walker Books 'is concerned to see the latest developments in Weymouth, particularly given the extreme reality of book banning in the US. We must ask ourselves is this the beginning of something, and what comes next?'

Fuck the political shitshow around the #Epstein Files. Let's read the testimony from the Epstein victims, listen to the Epstein survivors, and then mercilessly prosecute all of their molesters.

Interesting. I always worry about that being a flaw in my stories - for all that the endings are more likely 'survived' rather than 'happy'.

Look ma, they're fishing for upgrade-before-thinking types.

Who's doing the printing shouldn't matter - you ordered via D2D, therefore D2D fix the problem for you.

I was so disappointed with their handling of physical editions I gave up after the third cleverly worded email regarding them refusing to be listed as the publisher on the verso page because 'printing is handled by a third party'.

This. Oh hell yes. So much.

Just a reminder that if you enjoy a book, please leave a quick review on Amazon or Bookshop dot org, or wherever. Even if it's only a sentence, it really, really helps get the word out to other readers.

Wrong P-word, methinks. Should be 'parasite'.

Impressive pine cone... Thingy... 😁 you've got there. Is that done purely by interlocking the cones or does glue/wire/string etc come into play?

I've got over 30 WIP, and have always written in a non-linear fashion. Can't advise as to 'how', though, as it's just the way the storymaking engine in my head works. I'm just the meat machine host providing typing and spellchecking... Oh, and food. 🙂
