Let me just say I have a healthy addiction of collecting TTRPG books. My recent additions where the collections of Eberron 3.5e books by the brilliant Keith Baker and V5 of Vampire the Masquerade. I am running Eberron currently, and starting V5 Vampire soon 🥸🇮🇸

The ttrpg called Apocalypse world reminds me of Mad Max, surviving. Fighting, raiding for resources. And from a lifelong ttrpg nerd I must say it is a delight to play.

Dm/Gm tip of the day.
Thinking about a session is prep.
If you are able to improvise thinking about possible scenarios is on occasion more prep work than writing them down.
Because if you write them down, there is a GOOD chance your players will do the opposite,or visit a diffrent town.

When I got invited to play Dungeons and Dragons back in 2006 my group told me they needed a Cleric.And since then my groups allways needed a Cleric.Grew to loathe the class because I was a hired healer.Today it is my fav.class to play.Nothing beats keeping your party alive while keeping enemies dead

I did not discover ttrpg untill I was about 16-17 years old.And I allways felt something missing, like I did not belong.I did not talk about football(soccer) with kids my age because I was a nerd at heart.Just did not know it yet.Thankfull I found my people,sad it wasn't sooner.

My cat has been "spicy" any time we go to the vet.Does not know his own dad and turns that fight/flight response into Mike Tyson time.Been looking at cat helmets to put on his fluffy head,but all I get recommended is motorcycle helmets with cat ears.

Part 1) I wanted to ask the GMs or DMs of the ttrpg community how long you run your sessions for. For 25 years I have run them more or less for 4 hours each session. It changes depending on collective schedule. But it has worked for me well. My next run I am considering doing 2 hours but....
