I am not courageous or brave by any means.
Its one thing with family or a friend group that wont talk through problems but when it's tired to your paycheck the fear is so much more intense

It takes a lot of courage to be honest and speak to higher ups. Maybe even making language much more soft and flowery than would like- to not come off wrong.

Its hard. Its very hard. Wanting to be heard. Wanting "company culture and values" to mean something when it matters to you

I think about my old job a lot - - and their push for AI. Their choices to lay off those that lead the projects that were not completed first.

And the multitude of feedback in honestly assessing how bad these ideas were. Watching them struggle more from choices made... lay off more...

Postscript: Here are two people who brought guns to a protest and are not only still alive, but were subsequently invited to speak at the 2020 RNC. The fact that this protest was in support of George Floyd does not imply a contradiction in the gun nut world view.

Here's a handy video of some warm-up exercises you can do to help get yourself prepared to shovel! Obviously, adjust them to your fitness level, but the main goal is get yourself warmed up for physical activity. You can't go from 0 to 60 here, & you'll get a better idea of what you can handle!
