Here’s one way to emulate the “Super Ed” story.
Derek gets himself a new, more-powerful engine. He grows so confident, cocky, and sure of himself, that the engines see to it he has to be knocked down a peg.

Basically teaching a “power corrupts” moral.

However, the Vicarstown Tramway could still be built after 1977 as a trolleybus, as seen in the CGI series, to relieve congestion across the bridge.

Possibly funded by the NWR itself, as a bit of a "middle finger" to the road authorities by the Fat Controller, for killing his car-ferry service!

Little bit of analysis on 98462 & 87546. Usually fan productions like to make them good buddies with Gordon, but given the context Wilbert provides, they were anything *but* friendly & chums with Gordon.

It specifies they were horrid engines and very spiteful and mean to poor-

According to some retconned lore, the Fat Director got the idea for NWR having blue and green liveries came from the Mid-Sodor Railway. He must've seen Falcon & Stuart in 1920 with their blue and green liveries.

Canonically, the directors of the MSR could not decide on a uniform-

A steam crane based at Knapford Harbour?

Hmm… Built by A.W. Dry & Co. perhaps? Because Knapford Harbour never had any permanent cranes before the redevelopment scheme?

Perhaps escaped the Tidmouth shipyards?

Designed by Hatt himself? Made interchangeable with the Coffeepot’s boilers perhaps?

One often overlooked period... if not *completely* overlooked period of RWS history, is Thomas's own period of disgrace after falling down the mine.

This was between late 1952 and early-to-mid 1953. Thomas was of course punished for ignoring the danger sign, and falling into the

This is very important. I often share something I’ve worked on with people whose feedback I really value, and while a handful do respond to it, getting crickets from the rest is a very disheartening thing. Give feedback to your creative friends - it can make their entire day.
to me, “you should create for yourself” and “you deserve to be acknowledged for what you make” are two statements that should coexist. chasing engagement will rot your soul, while being neglected will see your passion wither. loving what you make is a failsafe for when the engagement never comes.
