I really like this book. It has a very sweet found family element to it. And the sequel is out! I can't wait to read it.

To make this pun even cooler, the word for gender in French is genre (which has plenty of other definitions, one of which is the same as in "genre fiction").

If it makes you feel any better, it seems they're targeting people at random. I received a similar scam and I don't even have a book out yet. At least I didn't have to do any thinking or digging to know it was a scam 🤣
