Beginning of my conversation with Usagi (iShade) Cochu: Hey iShade! I wanted to DM you to ask something a bit more personal (I thought it'd be better to do so privately rather than publicly) This is me checking if your DMs are open. So after the presentation came out there's been a few concerns in regards to your views regarding trans people. iiSU has garnered a big following since the reveal trailer and a big chunk of us are part of the trans community. There's been many times where projects like these that end up becoming attractive for trans people happen to be led by transphobes who then use us for profit, so a lot of us exercise caution when it's unclear whether people are in support of us or not. There have been instances where your reaction to being asked about pronouns has been questionable: - Someone has shared an anecdote of them asking for your pronouns and you responding with "I'm normal" and sending a video of someone saying "I don't get into that mentally ill stuff", this exchange happened last year - As recently as last month, you argued that it's "obvious that you're a man" and that people should "know by looking at (your) face" and that's why you don't list your pronouns anywhere The first point I would argue is definitely problematic, however since it was last year, people are wondering if you've changed since then. Leonie has come forward to defend you as well. The second point I want to ask you about. I'm assuming ignorance rather than malice here because of the cultural influence you described. The notion of looks=gender is frowned upon since it goes against separating gender identity from appearance. I understand where you're coming from when you say that your pronouns should be obvious because of how you look, but understand that this is rhetoric that's constantly used to harm trans people (see transvestigation). I just wanted to talk to you about this to know if you spreading this rhetoric comes from a place of malice or actually just not being familiar with it. I want to clarify that not having pronouns listed is *not* an issue, many people choose not to for different reasons (like simply not wanting that information to be public or as to not out themselves). But generally if people don't assume your pronouns it's because you don't list them and not because you don't look or sound a certain way. We ask for pronouns for inclusivity's sake, someone could look and sound exactly like you and not use he/him pronouns. Sorry for the long message, I hope I don't come across as rude or accusatory. My goal here is to clear concerns from a large portion of your recent following. In short we want to know if you support trans people or if you think they're "mentally ill" lol. I look forward to your reply! (Won't share unless you give me permission to do so) Also feel free to ask if you have any questions about these topics. Frankly I want iiSU to succeed and for everyone in the audience to be able to enjoy it without these concerns lol

recently I’ve been working on a mod that reenables the built in dev freecam in splatoon 1 that’s apart of agl, nintendo ead’s graphics library used in this game and many of their other titles, i’d like to release it after making some changes to make it more convenient

During today’s conference, Furukawa stated that Nintendo wants “as many people as possible” to get a Switch 2 during the year-end shopping season, aiming to sell above the forecast (19M units). Since the company has expanded capacity post NS2 launch, “production won’t be a bottleneck”.
