I honestly feel like Trump is trying to hold troops hostage by not allowing healthcare to be in reach for many of them should they choose to leave the service. So many recruiters prey on the poor.

America was built on diaspora yet attacks people who don't appear "American" an appearance that is eurocentric when that is the phenotype of a diasporic group that took over and forced assimilation.

I was not diagnosed until my 30s because of bias assuming that ADHD limited to boys. Instead of trying to discover deeper causes for my struggles I was given qualifiers like "unmotivated", "shy", and "lazy". There is no epidemic of autism/adhd the diagnosis just takes more of us into account now.

Trans people are valid. Autistic people are not an epidemic. People no matter their status deserve due process, safety, and dignity. No man is king in the USA.

Since getting diagnosed with ADHD I've been able to interact with my parents (who I suspect are also neurodivergent) much better.

I shouldn't laugh... but I do. My aunt who is married to an ultra-fundie MAGA man and a green card holder of 30+ years cannot safely leave the country. Her husband loudly voted for this to happen but "not to her".

When the U.S. last invoked the 'Alien Enemies Act,' it put citizens in inhumane camps for resembling the enemy. Today’s 'enemy' seems to be women, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community. History is repeating with greater intensity.

Being almost done with my degree Trumps banned phrases like "accessibility", "equity", "diversity", "advocacy", "socioeconomic", "women", "lgbtq", "marginalized", "bias", "confirmation bias", "person-centered care" literally would make it impossible to write anything in my field.

An opinion from someone who lives abroad as a milspouse. The USA relies on a lot of good will and generosity from other countries to maintain power status and Trump's influence is weakening the US not empowering as he is showing he has no goodwill.
