Don’t mind us, we’re just practicing how we’d behave if we ever see him in person.

Today is one of my favourite days of the year. It's the day hubby and I reached the PBS Safety Net.

It means (as concession card holders) we won't pay for most of our prescription meds for the rest of 2025.

We're lucky to have this scheme in Australia and we're not giving it up.

Katy Gallagher has challenged Jane Hume to a debate over the Coalition's APS cuts & anti-wfh policy.
But politics in Australia is no longer a 2 horse race & if there is going to be a policy debate about the future of our public service there needs to be a Greens' voice. #auspol

#NDIS Lists of Supports have fundamentally altered how we can spend our funds.

We used to be able to fund any disability *expense*: It could be almost anything, as long as the cost was incurred because of our disability.

Now, we can only fund disability *items*: Made or modded for our disability.

Australia needs friends we can rely on and Trump isn’t reliable. At all.
Yet Peter Dutton reckons he can be Donald’s bestie…. 😳
Bullies don’t have friends, they just have suckers.
Aust needs to rethink our relationship with the US.
Handcuffing ourselves to America with AUKUS is reckless.

Do I care if people of any gender wear makeup? Nope. That's up to them.

Do I care how they behave, especially how they treat other people? Absolutely!

Judge people on what they do, not how they look.

This is true for all fire situations and areas. Always include people with disabilities in emergency management plans.
Fire doesn’t discriminate, but unfortunately humans do. People with disabilities are 2-4 times more likely to die during a disaster than people without disabilities. If you don’t plan for people with disabilities in crisis response, you’re not planning for their survival
Ah yes “woke losers”, what a takedown 😂

I believe it is essential for #PatientVoices to be part of #Australian #HealthcareReform at all levels. That's why I attended the Patients in Parliament in Canberra in November. It's great to know the system is changing.

We knew this would happen eventually. We have moved from possible futures to these things now happening. The deferment has ended.
