I mean, fucking hell, I run a Discord server for people in recovery from addiction who use cannabis to stay clean and sober. My own homegrown weed saved me from an alcoholic death, and helps with my muscle spasms, Bipolar, and C-PTSD symptoms to boot.

The "Gateway Drug" myth has been making a hell of a comeback with prohibitionists the last decade or so. Sure, plenty of heroin addicts are going to have used cannabis. But I'm also pretty sure 99% of cannabis users aren't into heroin. Scare tactics with no basis in reality.

But alcohol has consumption lounges (bars) and is fine to use on private property, whereas almost all landlords in CA prohibit smoking/using cannabis in your rental unit. Like, my landlord doesn't care that I grow my own in my apartment, but I can't smoke it inside or on property. Go figure.

I've got some Ozzie gardeners in my network too. lol Y'all have some decent stuff medically provided, according to them. Recreational legalization here in Cali really fucked over medical patients, as well as cultivators. Homegrow rights are strong though, so that's the route I take.

And I have C-PTSD and muscle spasms/chronic back pain, so I feel ya on the need for affordable, effective, non-opioid meds. Growing your own is really the way to go, because that dispo weed is mid-grade garbage in every state I've tried it from. Even (especially) here in California.

FL cannabis laws are absolute trash, and your state lege can't make up their fucking minds about anything. I have a few growmies in FL that I hear all about it from. 😂 I understand growing wouldn't be a safe option for you currently, but if things ever change, I have great medical genetics to share.

I had both my hips replaced and kept my oxycodone usage to half the prescribed frequency by using my own homegrown cannabis. It also helped me during PT and assisted me in getting off the pills two weeks ahead of schedule. I mail free seeds to new growers, if you ever get to the point of growing.

Of course there needs to be expunging... when we have actual legalization. Trumpy Bear's executive order only hurries along the process of REscheduling, not DEscheduling; which are completely different things. Adult use (recreational) cannabis will still be illegal, and people will still go to jail.

Cali medical patient and homegrower here. We have the same problem with terps, and it's dreadful trying to find anything above mid-grade trash. Dispo weed is bred just for high THC and no medical value. Hence why I get seeds from growmies around the country and disperse them to the masses for free.
