I get it. I lived in Philly from 92-2023, so I’m an Eagles fan for life. But I lived in and around Seattle for the previous 15 years, was a Seahawks fan then, and live in the PNW again, and there are tons of Seahawks fans around. So, once the Eagles were out of it, I was all in for the Seahawks.

I know right! I was bummed they made it because. I’m waaaay not ready for another Pats dynasty and they COULD win… But seeing them get crushed was more fun than any other outcome!

Me too, but mostly because I’m not even remotely ready for the Patriots to be great again. I’m far from over the Brady / Belichick dynasty, from which I still hate that franchise.

I was wondering why I was more viscerally angry about the Good shooting than all of the black and brown men being sent to El Salvador? Was it suppressed racism? But I realized it was because it was on video! I was just as outraged by the George Floyd / Philando Castile killings - also on video.

As a Super Bowl champ, there’s no comparison - agreed. Leadership is definitely part of that. But I watch football with my eyes and Rodgers, in his prime, was about 100 times more fun to watch than Brady. He made passes Brady could only dream about and Brady would tell you the same thing.

He didn’t win championships like Brady, no, but he was a much better pure passer than Brady ever was, and Brady himself said so. At his best, he was an total artist. Brady was a great tactician and champion, but Rodger’s was about 10 times more fun to watch.
