Chapter 3 of this book is the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life. Everybody character is unhinged and Joe Morton is having the time of his life reading it. You can tell he was a stage actor cause it's not just a recording, it's a one man show. He deserves a Grammy

The final read for black history month is Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man which has been on my TBR for over a year. Only a few minutes in but the narrator is insanely petty and very relatable. Definitely recommend the audiobook for this, the performance is vibrant and dramatic #blackbooksky #booksky

Up next on the reading list is Shigidi and the Brass Head of Oablufo by Wole Talabi. An African written fantasy tale set all over the world with a very interesting start. I feel like this will be hard to put down #blackbooksky #booksky

Started reading Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler and I can tell this one will take time. I love the way she writes and the emotions she brings out but it's definitely one of those you have to sit with for a bit to really absorb the message #blackbooksky #booksky #blackreaders
