Today has been a confirmation. Between the black people I've seen carrying water for the dead racist and bluesky clamping down on people because they're not mourning the dead racist it's become obvious that i am not made for this place. I've blocked more people today than in the last year

so there's an old saying that any headline that has a question can usually be answered with no. i'm on book 8 of wheel of time and the answer is a resounding no, it is not worth anyone's time to read all those books

This is one of the reasons self-published books have such a bad rep. It’s not because you publish a book on your own that you don’t need to check for plot holes, grammar, etc. If you’re going to skip traditional publishing do it well

i think those might be bad narrators. many audiobooks bring the story to life and good voice acting is a big part of that
Cleaning would be easier for me because it’s so monotone. Cooking would be another story
