Now that it’s common knowledge that AI hallucinates, why would an attorney rely on AI to draft pleadings without verifying output?
An attorney couldn't stop using Grok (?!) to help draft filings, producing "a flood of tainted filings" & apparently triggering the implosion of a law firm & 3 lawyers' careers 🤖😵 The court called her misconduct "particularly egregious & prolific"

The idea that there’s some tiny, identifiable group of such special talent that they must be plucked, urgently, by firms is silly. The notion that they must be grabbed from the market before a single semester of grades is idiotic and kind of pernicious.
In a first, many top law firms this year are recruiting summer associates during students' first semester. Some are dangling ‘jumbo offers’ and ‘loyalty’ bonuses for students who do two summer stints back-to-back, keeping them out of other firms' reach reut.rs/44U44cD
