The hand print on the cover and finger prints throughout are meant to be like you’re the murderer using this book as a guide for your next kill, so I placed the prints as if you were actually flipping through.

Early in the design process, I printed and mocked up a dummy version and made a video of it to share with Eric to show how I thought things could relate to each other. If you look closely, yes, there was an early version where I designed the whole newspaper clipping, haha.
