Which stage of the grieving process is when you become obsessed with all of the things your loved one once loved? I am chasing the ghost of my father over here with his favorite things which I resisted when he was alive - jazz vinyls, watches, various conspiracy theories even!

The poet and activist was a leading figure of the Black Arts Movement. Giovanni was working on her upcoming book of poetry, set to publish in the fall.
