But occasionally this doesn't quite go to plan. Take today: what we thought was a bag of fries in the freezer was in fact a bag of those fast food-style hashbrown patties. So I present to you: chili cheese hashbrown patties.

Recently I've been attending more local arts/crafts shows and conventions in my area, so I've taken the opportunity to acquire other plushies and desk ornaments in order to personalize my space a bit more.
A knitted doll of a light blue Yoshi from the Mario series, and a small plushie of a sleepy Umbreon from the Pokemon series. Also in the background is a hair brush and a lava lamp. A plastic snake head from the dollar store. The snake head is "eating" a crocheted pickle fidget toy; the pickle has a barrette sewn into it that snaps when you fidget with it. A figure of a red Shy Guy from the Mario series, and a black human skull. The Shy Guy is 3D-printed, and I believe the skull is resin-cast (I don't recall exactly). Keychains of Kris, Susie and Ralsei from the video game Deltarune. The keychains are two-sided: the sides currently showing in the picture have Kris and Susie in their Dark World outfits and Ralsei in his Chapter 2 appearance onwards, while the other sides (not shown) have Kris and Susie in their Light World outfits and Ralsei in his shadowed hat-wearing Chapter 1 appearance.

I was always a bit self-conscious about liking "cute" or "kiddy" stuff, since I didn't want to be perceived by other people as unmasculine. But cuddling with a big Eevee plushie for the last couple of weeks has helped so much with my night-time anxiety, and I regret not getting one sooner.

Look at these ridiculous creatures.
