I forgot about animals outside my area. good morning. We just saw Opossums for the first time in 2024 on our cross-usa-trip.
And Armless Dillos 😆, all the Armadillos were dead on the highway, never saw a live one, and we looked. But I have had interaction giving "old scar-face chicken bones"

We only have River Otters on the east coast, and I am surrounded by ocean, but sometimes they venture out in the harbour to entertain me. I always see them in groups, skinny tails showing

Location is everything, but so is perspective. I see things differently, so things stand out to me. For example, perfectly camouflaged, the Ruffed Grouse #Birds are hard to see in the woods, but while my wife was driving (I was sick), I spotted one, and made her back up, try to show her & video
