One of the predictions I made last year is that Nintendo would increase the price of the Switch 2 in 2026 to offset the tariff impact.
Now i'm even more convinced there will be an increase in 2026 (or at the very least a $499 base price instead of the current $449 with no game SKU)

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa says the company is monitoring rapidly rising RAM prices and the continued impact of US tariffs very closely.
Furukawa declined to comment on future price increases, saying it was hypothetical.
