Arbeit soll sich lohnen, ja, aber unter 2100€ Netto Mindestlohn für 40h ist die Diskussion bissi absurd für mich. Total crazy wie wenig einem der Mindestlohn zahlt. Wo wohnen die Leute frage ich mich? Würde mich so dermaßen runterziehen für Vollzeit weniger als das zu bekommen.

Following up on #projectmanagement #software for my one person research team: OpenProject - cumbersome buggy Docker Install, essential features behind paywall. Taiga - only useful for software development, lacks normal task management. Jira - complex, somewhat cumbersome, but seems to work for me.

Vorschlag: Wir schaffen 30,8 Mrd.€ an schädlichen. Subventionen im Verkehr ab, bevor wir Mio. Menschen das Leben schwerer machen.

The ribbon interface by Microstft Office apps seems like a bad usability design practice that has been taken up by so many developers. Yeah, let's cram all functions into vague containers so I constantly have to guess which is where. Often without any search functionality for commands etc.

Apple's focus on local AI is the right direction. Issue is, even on a M2 16GB RAM Macbook, local AI can't do shit. So creating AI agents with full contextual awareness locally on a phone seems like a long stretch. Also, Apple's models aren't state of the art, afaik.

I think a lot of "generative computing is bullshit and hurtful per se" is linked to bullshit products like these. Dystopian, non-functional design that promises (pretty scary) features the technology simply can't deliver.

I think a lot of "generative computing is bullshit and hurtful per se" is linked to bullshit products like these. Dystopian, non-functional design that promises (pretty scary) features the technology simply can't deliver.

I love that I have to spark road rage and murderous disbelief in drivers when a one-way street littered with tons of metal on public space is a two-way street for me as a cyclist. I should definitely get fucked and run over, only fair imo

The Expanse (TV, 2015): Stumbled upon this by accident. Gritty Sci-Fi space opera, focusing on the Firefly-like crew of Holden and a rising conflict between Earth, Mars, and "the Belt". In between tropes, there's real depth and great performances to be had!
